200 ml Heavy Cream
200 ml Milk
50 g Sugar
3 Egg Yolks
2 tbsp Amaretto Liqueur
1 packet Vanilla Sugar

    Prepare all the ingredients. Pour the milk and heavy cream into a saucepan and heat over medium heat. Do not boil, just warm it through.

    In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the warm milk and heavy cream mixture, then pour everything back into the saucepan while stirring constantly.

    Cook the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, for 5-7 minutes, or until it thickens slightly. Be careful not to let it boil.
