Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9-inch (22 cm) cake pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the honey and continue mixing.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Sift in the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Gently fold to combine.
Grate the apple and fold it into the batter along with the sour cream and ground walnuts.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Before serving, dust the top with powdered sugar, slice, and serve.
