Cook the rice in salted water until tender. Keep warm until serving.
Finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté until the onion is translucent.
Add the ground beef to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until browned.
Pour in the tomato sauce, stir well, and simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
In a separate skillet, fry the bananas in a little oil, either whole or halved lengthwise, until golden brown.
Fry the eggs sunny-side up in a clean skillet to your liking.
To serve, divide the rice among plates. Top with the tomato-based meat sauce, fried bananas, and a fried egg.
