Cut the chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create wider, thinner slices. Gently pound them to an even thickness. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cut the cheese into thin sticks and place them in the center of the chicken breast slices. Fold the chicken over the cheese, ensuring the cheese is fully enclosed.
Wrap each stuffed chicken breast with bacon slices, making sure the bacon completely covers the chicken to prevent the cheese from leaking out during baking.
Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil and place the bacon-wrapped chicken breasts inside. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is fully cooked. Turn the chicken breasts once during baking for even browning.
Serve with a fresh salad, steamed vegetables, or roasted potatoes.
