Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash and pat the fish dry with paper towels, then season both sides with salt and pepper.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the fish fillets on it. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with finely chopped garlic.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and golden brown. Squeeze a little lemon juice over the fish before the end of baking.
While the fish is baking, prepare the green salad: wash the arugula, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumber, and chop them into bite-sized pieces.
In a bowl, combine the salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve the baked fish with the fresh green salad. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh herbs, if desired.
