In a medium saucepan, combine the BBQ sauce, bourbon whiskey, Dijon mustard, honey, and brown sugar.
Add the apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Heat the sauce over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved and the flavors are well combined (about 5-7 minutes).
Simmer for another 3-5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Serve with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or as a dipping sauce for french fries.
