Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Stir in the grated cheddar cheese and corn until well combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pie dish and spread evenly.
Drizzle the BBQ sauce over the top, and use a fork to gently swirl it into the batter for a marbled effect.
Bake the pie for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving warm.
