Wash and pat dry the chicken drumsticks. Season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Hungarian sweet paprika. Drizzle with olive oil, ensuring each drumstick is well coated.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Place the seasoned chicken drumsticks in a baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, remove the drumsticks from the oven and brush them generously with BBQ sauce. Return to the oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and the drumsticks are crispy.
While the chicken is baking, peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes, and boil in salted water until tender.
Drain the potatoes thoroughly. Add the butter and warm milk, then mash until smooth. Season with salt to taste.
To serve, spoon the mashed potatoes onto a plate and arrange the crispy BBQ chicken drumsticks alongside.
