BBQ grilled beets served

BBQ Grilled Beets

Grilled beets are one of the easiest ways to bring out the natural sweetness and earthy flavor of beets. The BBQ caramelizes the surface while remaining juicy inside. Balsamic vinegar and honey create a perfect balance of tart and sweet flavors, while fresh rosemary adds extra aroma to the dish. This recipe is an ideal choice for summer barbecues, health-conscious meals, or even for a festive table. If you want to make it even more exciting, try it sprinkled with goat cheese or walnuts.

    Preparation Steps

    1

Thoroughly wash the beets, then peel them. Be sure to wear gloves, as beets can easily stain your hands.

    2

Cut the beets into slices approximately 1 cm thick to ensure even grilling.

    3

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper. Toss the beet slices in the mixture to coat them evenly.

    4

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. If necessary, lightly oil the grill grates to prevent the beets from sticking.

    5

Place the beet slices on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, until slightly tender and grill marks appear.

    6

While grilling, sprinkle with finely chopped fresh rosemary for added aroma.

    7

Before serving, drizzle with a little extra balsamic vinegar. Serve fresh alongside grilled dishes or as a standalone side dish.
