Rinse the flounder fillets thoroughly with cold water, then pat them dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, brown sugar, honey, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Generously coat the flounder fillets with the BBQ marinade. Let them rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, then place the fish directly on the grill grates.
Grill the fish for 4-5 minutes on one side, then carefully flip it and grill for another 3-4 minutes, until golden brown and slightly crispy.
In the last minute, brush a thin layer of extra BBQ sauce on the fish, then grill for another 30 seconds to allow the glaze to slightly caramelize.
Remove the grilled flounder from the grill and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
Serve warm with lemon wedges, a fresh salad, or grilled vegetables. It's also an excellent choice with toasted bread or steamed rice.
