In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla sugar.
Add the cold butter and cut it into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Add one egg and knead the dough until it comes together. Wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
While the dough chills, prepare the filling: in a saucepan, combine the brown sugar, honey, and heavy cream. Heat over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Remove from heat and stir in the roughly chopped pecans and the remaining egg until well combined.
Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 350°F or 180°C) and prepare a heat-resistant pie dish or BBQ baking sheet.
Roll out the dough and place it into the pie dish, then prick the bottom with a fork.
Pour in the pecan filling and spread it evenly.
Place the pie on the grill and bake covered for 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving, garnished with whipped cream or extra pecans, if desired.
