Brush the cut sides of the plums with the prepared mixture, then let them sit for 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to absorb.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grease the grates with a little melted butter to prevent the plums from sticking.
Place the plums cut-side down on the grill grates and cook for 3-4 minutes, until caramelized grill marks appear.
