Preheat the grill to medium heat, then place the avocados cut-side down on the grill.
Grill for 3-4 minutes, until lightly charred and smoky.
Meanwhile, finely chop the red onion, garlic, tomato, and jalapeno pepper.
Once the avocados are ready, scoop out the flesh into a bowl.
Add the chopped red onion, garlic, tomato, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Using a fork, mash the avocado and mix the ingredients until you have a creamy but chunky texture.
Before serving, drizzle with a little extra lime juice and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
Serve with tortilla chips, grilled meats, or vegetables.
