Cut the tofu into slices about 1 cm thick and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
In a bowl, combine the sweet chili sauce, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper.
Place the tofu slices in the marinade and let them sit for at least 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavors to penetrate.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and, if necessary, grease the grill grates with a little olive oil.
Place the marinated tofu slices on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.
During the last minute, brush them with another layer of marinade and let them caramelize slightly.
Remove from the grill and sprinkle with freshly chopped cilantro and, optionally, sesame seeds.
Serve with rice, grilled vegetables, or a fresh salad.
