Wash the potatoes and boil them in their skins in lightly salted water for 20-25 minutes, or until they are completely tender.
Once the potatoes are cooked, drain them and let them cool. Then peel and dice them into small cubes.
Finely chop the red onion and slice the green onions thinly.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, BBQ sauce, mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Add the chopped onions and diced potatoes, then gently toss to coat all ingredients with the sauce.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Before serving, sprinkle with fresh green onions and serve cold alongside grilled meats or sandwiches.
