In a medium bowl, combine the peach puree, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, and honey. Stir until the mixture is homogeneous.
Add the minced ginger and garlic, then sprinkle in the chili flakes, smoked paprika, freshly ground black pepper, and olive oil. Mix well to distribute the flavors evenly.
Pour in the fresh lemon juice, which will add a slightly acidic and refreshing note to the marinade.
Place the meats or vegetables you want to marinate in a resealable bag or bowl, then pour the marinade over them. Toss well to coat everything thoroughly.
Cover the bowl or seal the bag, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, but preferably overnight.
Before using, remove the marinated ingredients from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes to ensure even cooking during grilling.
