Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Prepare the ribs by trimming any excess fat and removing the membrane from the back. In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, Hungarian sweet paprika, and brown sugar. Rub the mixture evenly over the ribs.
Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 2.5 hours, or until the meat is very tender.
While the ribs are baking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the corn on the cob and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until tender. Drain and keep warm.
Remove the ribs from the oven and generously brush them with BBQ sauce. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the cooked corn on the cob and turn to coat evenly with the melted butter. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
Serve the BBQ ribs hot with the buttered corn on the cob. Offer extra BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
