    Preparation Steps

    1

Thoroughly wash and pat the spareribs dry. Season generously with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and minced garlic, rubbing the spices into the meat.

    2

Lightly coat both sides of the ribs with olive oil, then wrap them tightly in aluminum foil and place them in a baking pan.

    3

Bake the ribs in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for 2 to 2.5 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bone.

    4

Once the ribs are tender, remove them from the oven. Generously brush them with BBQ sauce, then return them to the oven at 400°F (200°C) for an additional 20 minutes, until the sauce is nicely glazed and caramelized.

    5

While the ribs are baking, prepare the corn: bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add the corn on the cob, and cook for 10 minutes. Drain well.

    6

Lightly char the cooked corn on the cob in a hot skillet or on a grill. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with finely chopped fresh parsley.

    7

Serve the tender BBQ ribs with the buttered, grilled corn on the cob. Offer a fresh salad or coleslaw as a side dish.
