Preheat your oven to 320°F (160°C). Rinse the ribs and pat them dry. In a small bowl, combine the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Hungarian sweet paprika. Generously rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.
Line a baking dish with aluminum foil and lightly grease it with olive oil. Place the seasoned ribs in the prepared dish, cover tightly with aluminum foil, and bake for 2 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bone.
In a bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, hot sauce, and brown sugar to create a sweet and spicy glaze.
Remove the ribs from the oven and generously brush both sides with the prepared sauce. Increase the oven temperature to 392°F (200°C).
Return the ribs to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the glaze is caramelized and forms a glossy coating on the meat.
Using a sharp knife, slice the ribs and serve with a side of fresh salad or roasted potatoes. Offer extra sauce for dipping.
