In a medium bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, olive oil, chopped fresh rosemary, and grated garlic.
Add the brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth.
Season the marinade with additional salt and pepper to taste.
If the marinade is too thick, add a little water to reach the desired consistency.
Brush the marinade onto meat or vegetables and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
