Clean the cremini mushrooms with a dry kitchen towel or brush, then halve or quarter them, depending on their size.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the mushrooms to the skillet and sauté them for 5-7 minutes, until lightly golden brown.
Stir in the garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper, then sauté for another 2 minutes.
Pour in the soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, and BBQ sauce, then stir well to coat the mushrooms evenly.
Cook for another 3-5 minutes, until the sauce has slightly thickened and the mushrooms are caramelized.
Before serving, sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot as a side dish or as a standalone meal.
