BBQ steak burger served

BBQ Steak Burgers

The BBQ steak burger is the perfect combination of American BBQ culture and the classic hamburger. The juicy, smoky flavor is ensured by the high-fat ground beef, which gets a crispy crust on the grill. The origin of the steak burger can be traced back to American steakhouses, where the traditional hamburger was made from premium beef and made even more delicious with BBQ sauce. Worcestershire sauce and smoked paprika add deeper layers of flavor to the meat, while cheddar cheese and fresh vegetables perfectly complement this classic dish. This dish is ideal for grilling, family gatherings or friendly BBQ parties. If you want a truly authentic BBQ experience, serve it with homemade fries and an extra serving of BBQ sauce!

    Preparation Steps

    1

Place the ground beef in a large bowl. Add the salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and brown sugar. Use your hands to thoroughly combine all ingredients.

    2

Pour in the Worcestershire sauce and 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and form them into burger patties.

    3

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Lightly brush the grates with olive oil to prevent the patties from sticking.

    4

Place the patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until nicely seared.

    5

During the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush the patties with BBQ sauce and top each with a slice of cheddar cheese to melt.

    6

Halve the hamburger buns and toast them on the grill for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.

    7

Assemble the burgers: place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by a slice of tomato, the BBQ patty, and a few red onion slices. Drizzle with extra BBQ sauce, then top with the other half of the bun.

    8

Serve immediately with extra BBQ sauce and fries or coleslaw.
