Add the ground beef to the onion-garlic mixture. Season with burrito seasoning mix, salt, and pepper. Cook thoroughly, until browned and crumbly.
Drain and rinse the canned black beans. Add them to the beef mixture, stir to combine, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Stir in the cooked rice, heat through, and remove the skillet from the heat.
Warm the tortilla wraps briefly in a skillet to make them pliable and prevent them from breaking during filling.
Place a portion of the rice, bean, and beef filling in the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle generously with grated cheddar cheese. Fold the burrito: first fold in the bottom, then fold in the sides, and roll up tightly.
Briefly sear the prepared burritos in a skillet to make them crispy on the outside. Serve warm, with sour cream, guacamole, or fresh salad as desired.
