300 g All-purpose flour
80 g Sugar
2 g Salt
10 g Baking powder
250 ml Plain yogurt
2 Eggs
5 ml Vanilla extract
1 Grated lemon zest
150 g Mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
50 g Powdered sugar
500 ml Sunflower oil

    Preparation Steps

    In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.

    In another bowl, whisk the eggs, then add the yogurt, vanilla extract, and grated lemon zest. Combine well.

    Gradually add the yogurt mixture to the dry ingredients, then gently fold in the mixed berries, being careful not to crush them.

    Heat the oil in a deep skillet or pot to 340-355°F (170-180°C).

    Drop small spoonfuls of the dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally.

    Remove the doughnuts with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
