Prepare the ingredients: chop the dark chocolate and prepare the blackberry purée, if needed (blend the blackberries and strain).
In a medium saucepan, heat the milk and heavy cream over medium heat, but do not boil.
Add the cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon, then whisk until smooth.
Sprinkle in the chopped dark chocolate, and stirring constantly, let it melt completely.
Once the chocolate has completely melted, stir in the blackberry purée and a pinch of salt, then cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Meanwhile, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form; this will be used for topping.
Pour the hot drink into mugs, and garnish with fresh blackberries and a dollop of whipped cream on top.
