Halve the hamburger buns and toast the cut sides in a dry skillet until golden brown.
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the buns, then top with cheddar cheese, the freshly cooked bacon, and the fried egg.
Drizzle with ketchup, then place the top halves of the buns on top.
Serve immediately, preferably warm, so the cheese melts slightly onto the bacon slices.
