In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the brown sugar with the water, stirring constantly until it caramelizes.
When the caramel is golden brown, carefully pour in the almond milk and stir well to dissolve the caramel.
Add the vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon, then heat over medium heat, but do not bring to a boil.
When the drink is well combined and the caramel is completely dissolved, pour into mugs.
Sprinkle the top with toasted almond flakes and a pinch of cinnamon for the perfect flavour.
