    Warm the water and milk until lukewarm. The liquid needs to be lukewarm to properly activate the yeast. In a small bowl, dissolve the sugar and yeast in the lukewarm water, then let it rest for 5-10 minutes until foamy.

    Sift the flour into a large bowl, add the salt, and mix. Pour in the yeast mixture, then add the butter. Knead the dough well until it becomes smooth and elastic. If needed, add a little water to prevent it from being too dry.
