1000 ml Apple Cider
6 Green Cardamom Pods
1 Orange
3 tbsp Honey
1 Cinnamon Stick
5 Cloves

    Lightly crush the cardamom pods with the flat side of a knife or in a mortar to release their aromas.

    Thoroughly wash the orange and slice it into thin rounds.

    Pour the apple cider into a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat.

    Add the cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, cloves, and orange slices to the saucepan.

    Slowly heat the drink, being careful not to boil it, to allow the flavors to meld. This should take about 15 minutes.

    Stir in the honey until it is completely dissolved.

    Strain the cider to remove the spices and orange peel.
