Melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the vanilla extract, melted butter, and chestnut puree, then mix until smooth.
Peel and grate the apple, then fold it into the wet ingredients.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, gently mixing until just combined and the batter is smooth.
Spoon the batter evenly into the muffin cups, filling them about 3/4 full.
Bake the muffins for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Before serving, you can dust them with powdered sugar or drizzle with honey for extra flavor.
