Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breast slices for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown. Set aside.
Mince the garlic cloves. In a small bowl, combine the sour cream, grated cheese, and minced garlic. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Lightly grease a baking dish. Arrange the chicken breast slices in a single layer at the bottom of the dish.
Pour the sour cream and cheese mixture over the chicken breast slices, spreading it evenly to cover each slice.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm with fresh vegetables or your favorite side dish.
