In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well until you have a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
Bake the cake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Before serving, dust with powdered sugar, or garnish with chocolate shavings.
