Brew a strong cup of coffee (espresso or long coffee) and let it cool completely.
Melt the chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave. Add the sugar and milk, stirring until you have a smooth and silky chocolate mixture.
In a blender or shaker, combine the ice cubes, cooled coffee, and chocolate milk. Shake or blend until well combined.
Pour the iced coffee into a tall glass and top with whipped cream, if desired.
Garnish with cocoa powder and chocolate shavings. Serve immediately.
