In a medium saucepan, warm the apple cider over low heat.
Add the brown sugar, cinnamon stick, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine and let the flavors meld for about 5 minutes.
Melt the dark chocolate in a separate bowl, then stir it into the cider.
Add the vanilla extract and frozen raspberries to the cider. Stir well and let it simmer for another 5 minutes, allowing the raspberries to release their flavor.
Strain the cider to remove the raspberry seeds and cinnamon stick. Divide into glasses.
Garnish with whipped cream and a few fresh raspberries, if available.
