Bring 500 ml of water to a boil, then add the black tea bags and cinnamon stick. Let it steep for 5-7 minutes to allow the flavors to fully infuse.
Remove the tea bags and cinnamon stick, then stir in the brown sugar and caramel syrup until completely dissolved.
Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until thoroughly chilled.
Just before serving, add a touch of lemon juice to the tea to brighten the flavor.
Fill a glass with ice cubes, then pour in the chilled tea.
Garnish with fresh mint and, optionally, a drizzle of extra caramel syrup on top.
