Bring 500 ml of water to a boil in a saucepan or kettle.
Add the elderflower and cinnamon stick to the hot water.
Let it steep for 7-10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld, stirring occasionally.
Remove the cinnamon stick and elderflower from the water.
Stir in the honey until completely dissolved.
Add a tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice to brighten the flavor.
Pour the tea into a mug and serve immediately. Garnish with a lemon slice or a cinnamon stick, if desired.
