In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, dry yeast, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. This forms the spiced base for the sweet naan dough.
Add the yogurt, lukewarm water, and olive oil. Knead into a smooth, elastic dough for about 10 minutes. The dough should be soft but not sticky.
Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Divide the risen dough into 6 equal portions. Shape them into balls, then roll them out into oval shapes.
Spread honey on one half of the rolled-out naan, then fold the other half over it and gently press down. Lightly roll it out again to achieve an even shape.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the naans for 1-2 minutes per side, or until golden brown spots appear.
Brush the freshly cooked naans with melted butter. This will give them an extra silky texture and shine.
Serve immediately. They are best served warm, on their own or drizzled with a little extra honey.
Tip: If desired, sprinkle with a little cinnamon powdered sugar before serving for an even more festive touch.
Do not overheat the honey, otherwise, it will caramelize. It should be at room temperature and easily spreadable before filling.
