Wash the mixed berries and drain well. Squeeze the orange for juice, and zest the orange.
In a medium saucepan, combine the orange juice, honey, ground cinnamon, and orange zest. Heat over medium heat until the honey is completely dissolved.
Add the mixed berries and lemon juice, and stir well to combine. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the berries soften and release their juices.
In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water until smooth. Pour the mixture into the sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly. For a smoother sauce, blend with an immersion blender. Serve warm or cold over pancakes, ice cream, or cakes.
