Cinnamon-Pear Cider with fresh pears and cinnamon stick

Cinnamon-Pear Cider

Cinnamon-Pear Cider is a true autumn and winter favorite, with its warming effect and spicy flavors making it the perfect complement to cold days. The natural sweetness of apple juice and fresh pears harmoniously meets the warm aroma of cinnamon and cloves. This drink is an excellent alternative to traditional mulled wine and can even be prepared alcohol-free with sparkling water or cider. For an extra special touch, try it with a little ginger or a pinch of nutmeg!

    Preparation Steps

    1

Wash the pears, slice them thinly, and remove the core.

    2

In a saucepan, heat the apple juice over medium heat. Add the cinnamon stick, cloves, and honey.

    3

Let it simmer gently for 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld, but do not bring to a full boil.

    4

Remove from the heat and let it cool slightly. Strain to remove the spices.

    5

Pour the cooled spiced apple mixture into cider or sparkling water and mix well.

    6

Pour into glasses, add a few ice cubes, and garnish with fresh pear slices and orange zest.

    7

Serve immediately, or chill in the refrigerator for an hour for a more intense flavor.
