Bring 500 ml of water to a boil, then pour over the black tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes, then remove the tea bags.
Meanwhile, wash and pit the plums, then cut them into smaller pieces.
In a small saucepan, bring the plum pieces to a simmer with a little water. Add the cinnamon stick and cloves.
Simmer the plums over low heat for 5-7 minutes, until softened and they release their flavor.
Strain the plum mixture and combine it with the black tea. If you prefer it sweeter, add honey and lemon juice to taste.
Pour into mugs and garnish with a slice of plum or a cinnamon stick.
Serve hot and enjoy the spicy, fruity flavors!
