4 Beef Patties
4 Hamburger Buns
4 Sliced Cheese
4 Lettuce Leaves
2 Tomato
1 Red Onion
50 g Ketchup
30 g Mustard
50 g Mayonnaise
2 pinch Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper

    Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Prepare the vegetables: wash the lettuce leaves, slice the tomatoes and red onion into thin rings.

    Season the beef patties with salt and pepper on both sides. Place them in the preheated skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until a golden-brown crust forms.

    When the patties are nearly cooked through, place a slice of cheese on top of each and let it melt. You can cover the skillet with a lid to speed up the process.

    Halve the hamburger buns and toast the inside faces in a dry skillet or on a grill until crispy.

    Assemble the hamburger: spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun, top with lettuce, the cheesy patty, tomato and onion slices. Add ketchup and mustard to taste.

    Place the top bun on and gently press down. Serve immediately, preferably with fries or a side salad.
