In a large bowl, combine the flour, active dry yeast, sugar, and salt. Add the lukewarm water and olive oil, and knead until a smooth, elastic dough forms. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
Divide the risen dough into two equal portions, then roll each portion out into a thin circle. Place the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spread the tomato sauce over the dough and sprinkle with grated mozzarella cheese. Arrange the sliced pepperoni sausage on top.
Preheat the oven to 482°F (250°C). Bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown, the cheese is melted, and the pepperoni is slightly crisp.
Before serving, garnish the pizza with fresh basil leaves and drizzle with a little olive oil for added richness.
