Club sandwich wrap with chicken breast, bacon, cheese, and tomato, served cut in half

Club Sandwich Wrap

The origin of the club sandwich dates back to the 1890s in America, where it was first served in upscale clubs with toasted bread, chicken, bacon, and fresh vegetables. Over the years, many variations have emerged, including the practical wrap format, which is easy to transport and convenient to eat. The club sandwich wrap creates a perfect balance between juicy chicken breast, crispy bacon, and fresh vegetables. The silkiness of the mayonnaise and the creaminess of the cheese round out the flavor. This dish is an ideal choice for busy days, picnics, or work lunches. If you crave a more special flavor, you can vary it with spicy chicken or different sauces - such as BBQ or honey-mustard dressing.

    Preparation Steps

    1

Cook the chicken breast until tender in lightly salted water. Let it cool completely, then slice it into thin strips. Cook the bacon slices in a dry skillet until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

    2

Slice the tomatoes into rounds. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Prepare all the ingredients for filling so you can quickly assemble the wraps.

    3

Lightly warm the tortilla wraps in a skillet or microwave to make them more pliable and prevent them from cracking when rolling.

    4

Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise in the center of each tortilla. Place a lettuce leaf, a few strips of chicken breast, 2 slices of cooked bacon, 2–3 tomato slices, and a slice of cheese on top. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    5

Fold in the bottom of the tortilla, then tightly roll up the wrap. If necessary, secure with a toothpick to prevent it from unraveling. Cut in half diagonally for easier serving.

    6

Serve fresh, warm, or at room temperature. You can serve it with chips, fries, or a salad. For a spicier version, add mustard or BBQ sauce.
