Brew 500 ml of strong coffee, then pour it into a saucepan.
Add the brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon stick, and orange zest. Heat over medium heat, but do not boil.
Let the flavors meld for 5 minutes, then remove from the heat and discard the cinnamon stick and orange zest.
Pour in the rum and stir well to combine.
Slowly stir in the cream to achieve a creamy consistency.
Pour into mugs or glasses, then top with whipped cream and a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg.
