4 Hamburger buns (brioche or whole wheat)
2 tbsp Mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 Egg
4 tbsp Breadcrumbs
1 Red onion (minced)
1 cloves Garlic (minced)
1 tbsp Lemon juice
2 tbsp Parsley (fresh, chopped)
1 tbsp Olive oil
4 Lettuce leaves
1 Cucumber
1 Tomato
1 tsp Salt
0.5 tsp Black pepper

    Preparation Steps

    Thoroughly drain the cooked or canned crab meat, then mix it with the minced red onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

    Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized crab cakes, then refrigerate them for 15 minutes to firm up.

    In a hot skillet or on a grill, sauté the crab cakes in a little olive oil for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes, until golden brown.

    Cut the hamburger buns in half, then butter and toast them in a skillet until golden brown.

    Spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on the bottom half of the bun, then place a lettuce leaf on top.
