Cranberry orange glaze served.

Cranberry Orange Glaze

Cranberry orange glaze is a sweet and tangy accompaniment that pairs perfectly with Christmas turkey, cheeses, or desserts. The tartness of the cranberries and the sweetness of the orange create a harmonious pairing, while the spices add warmth to the sauce. Tip: Try it with a little grated ginger for an even more intense aroma.

    2

In a medium saucepan, combine the orange juice, water, honey, and brown sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Add the cranberries, orange zest, ground cinnamon, and ground cloves, then stir well to combine.

    4

Cook the mixture over low heat for 10-12 minutes, or until the cranberries have softened and started to burst.

    5

Let the glaze cool slightly, then use an immersion blender to purée until smooth.

    6

Serve with meats, cheeses, or desserts, or store in a sterilized jar in the refrigerator.
