Cut the tofu into cubes and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
In a bowl, combine the cornstarch with a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss the tofu cubes in the mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the tofu on all sides until golden brown and crispy. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic in olive oil over low heat for 1-2 minutes, being careful not to burn it.
Add the soy sauce, lemon juice, and water to the skillet. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has slightly thickened.
Return the tofu to the skillet and toss to coat it evenly with the garlic sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley and toasted sesame seeds before serving. Serve with rice or a salad.
