Add the chopped dill and garlic, then whisk thoroughly to combine the flavors.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. For a more intense lime flavor, add a little more lime juice.
Let the finished vinaigrette stand for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve with salads, grilled fish, or vegetables.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Shake or whisk well before serving.
