500 g All-purpose flour
250 ml Milk
25 g Fresh yeast
50 g Sugar
3 Egg yolks
50 g Butter
1 pinch Salt
500 ml Oil (for frying)
50 g Powdered sugar (for serving)
150 g Apricot jam (for serving)

    Preparation Steps

    Warm the milk slightly, then stir in the sugar and crumble in the yeast. Let it proof.

    Sift the flour into a large bowl, add the salt, egg yolks, melted butter, and the proofed yeast.

    Knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.

    Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thickness, then cut out donut shapes using a glass or a donut cutter.

    Heat the oil and fry the donuts over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
