Finely chop the habanero chilies and combine them with the ground beef patties. Season with salt and pepper. Ensure the chili is evenly distributed throughout the meat.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until a golden-brown crust forms and the patties are cooked through.
When the patties are almost done, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty. Cover the skillet and let the cheese melt completely.
Toast the hamburger buns until the cut sides are golden brown.
Slice the tomatoes and red onion into thin rings. Prepare the lettuce leaves and dill pickle slices.
Assemble the burgers: spread garlic mayonnaise on the bottom bun, top with lettuce leaves, the cheesy habanero-infused patty, tomato and red onion slices, and dill pickles.
Place the top bun on the burger and gently press down. Serve immediately with french fries or a fresh green salad.
